Lowrider Culture | Wired Down at SEMA
Lowriders and classic bombs have always been part of the backbone of Sunday Slacker. Classics, hot rods, kustoms, cars, culture, and music all come together at car shows, in garages, and on the streets.
Lowrider styles may change with the trends, but at their core, the traditions remain the same. Wire wheels, whitewalls, chrome, custom paint, and a club plaque. From traditional bombs to elaborate builds featuring murals, hydraulics, and gold plating, each car reflects the style and individuality of its owner.
Every year at SEMA, you might catch a dozen lowriders scattered throughout the show, but rarely a traditional bomb or original classic. This year, SEMA puts lowrider culture in the spotlight with the Wired Down Lowrider Experience in the main hall.
Rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and community, lowriding has influenced generations of builders and enthusiasts. It's more than a style of car. It's a culture, a lifestyle, and the freedom to get behind the wheel and cruise.
